We had a wonderful one night stay and wished we could have stayed longer, especially with the Mount Will Walking Trail just around 4.5 km away, perfect for a fine city stroll, and the Maine Mineral and Gem Museum only about 3 km from our place.

I really enjoyed well-appointed and exceptionally clean room in this hotel.
Everything was great, including INCREDIBLY KIND staff and marvellous location down the hill. I booked a room with an exceptionally comfortable bed, satellite TV, climate control and a microwave oven.

The outdated decor could use refreshing!!! The hot tub feels cramped for the number of guests!!! Frequent noise from upstairs disrupts sleep!!! The limited electrical outlets hinder charging multiple devices!!! Bathroom cleanliness needs serious attention!!!

I loved how close River View Resort was to Sunday River. The indoor pool and hot tub brought a lot of joy, especially after a long day of skiing. The kitchenette really made it convenient to prepare meals. I enjoyed the spaciousness of the two-bedroom suite. The view from the back deck was fine, great to soak in the mountains. The decor and furniture felt outdated. The hot water in our room disappeared quickly, a letdown. The staff was friendly and accommodating, made up for some inconveniences. Noise from other guests at times disrupted the peace, especially in the mornings. It's a cozy place, but a little refresh could elevate the experience significantly.
